Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

Stipend:

  • Onsite: ₹5000 – ₹10,000 per month (based on performance, working 8 hours daily, 5 days a week, from our office).
  • Work From Home: Unpaid (minimum 5 posts per week).

Role Overview:
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to increase Uttarakhandi.com’s online presence. You will work on creating engaging posts, growing our audience, and sharing the cultural treasures of Uttarakhand through various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create a minimum of 5 social media posts per week, focusing on Uttarakhand’s culture, travel, and events.
  • Design visually appealing content, including graphics, reels, and videos.
  • Write engaging captions, hashtags, and descriptions to enhance post visibility.
  • Conduct research on trending topics and implement them into content strategies.
  • Manage and grow Uttarakhandi.com’s presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Interact with followers and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with the content and editorial team to align social media campaigns with website content.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Passion for social media and knowledge of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong creative and design skills; familiarity with Canva or similar tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Uttarakhand’s culture, heritage, and traditions is an advantage.
