Deoria Tal (also known as Devaria or Deoriya) is a captivating high-altitude lake nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas, situated about 3 km (1.9 miles) from the villages of Mastura and Sari along the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand, India. How to Reach Deoria Tal

The return journey can be made by trekking down to Mastura and catching a shared jeep. For those who prefer a more immersive experience, there is the option of trekking a distance of 7 km (4.3 miles) from Ukhimath to Deoria Tal. Though camping is no longer permitted at the lake, trekkers can still enjoy the beauty of the area through jungle trekking, photography, and videography. Small tea stalls along the way provide refreshments, though they close at sundown.

Many trekkers also choose to combine their visit to Deoria Tal with a trek to Tungnath, the highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the nearby Chandrashila peak. These treks begin at Chopta and provide a perfect opportunity to explore the surrounding beauty.
